Dmitry Khromov

In 2002 Dmitry Khromov graduated from Prokofiev Moscow Regional College.

In 2006 graduated from Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (People's Artist of Russia professor Dmitry Bertman's workshop).

Since 2003 he was a probationer in Helikon-Opera theatre.

A soloist of Helikon-Opera since 2006.

In "Helikon-Opera" he debuted as Alva in Alban Berg's "Lulu" opera. While on probation in the youth program of the theater, he participated as Chevalier in "Les Dialogues des Carmelites" by Francis Poulenc . His other performances included: "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart (Don Basilio), "The Tsar's Bride" by Rimsky-Korsakov (Bomelius), "Apollo and Hyacinth" by W. A. Mozart (Oebulas), "Norma" by Bellini (Flavio) and went to the theater's tours in Russia and abroad (Italy, Spain, Lebanon, Oman, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia).
Since 2007 he has worked with musical theater "Na Basseynoy" (Kaliningrad), where he sang in "Gypsy’s Love" operetta by F. Lehar (Sandor), and operas directed by Dmitry Bertman ("Eugene Onegin" (Lenski), "The Tsar's Bride" (Bomelius) and "La Traviata "(Alfredo)).

In 2007 he made his debut in "Mazeppa" by P. I. Tchaikovsky (Andrew), "Mozart and Salieri. Requiem" by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov and W. A. Mozart (Mozart) and "Vec Makropoulos" (Albert Gregor) performance, which was performed in concert tour of "Helikon-Opera" in Brno, Czech Republic.

Since 2007 Dmiry is a soloist of Creative Youth Program “Petite Opera” by "Open Stage" project (Department of Culture of the Government of Moscow), where he successfully performed several Purcell’s operas ("Dido and Aeneas" - Aeneas, "King Arthur" - He, "The Tempest" - Demon and Charon, "Pygmalion" - Cherubini , title role).

In 2008 he participated in the festival by the 100th anniversary of Olivier Messiaen ("Death of a Number" and " Billitis Three Songs" by Debussy) in the Small Hall of Moscow Conservatory.

In 2010 he took part in master classes with Elena Obraztsova in St. Petersburg, and then was invited to participate in a concert with the diva in the Ekaterininsky Palace at Tsarskoye Selo in St. Petersburg in summer 2011, and in a gala concert at the opening of a summer music festival by Peter Dvorsky (Slovakia).

In 2011 Dmitry Khromov did the audition and casting in the Bolshoi Theatre and received an invitation and contract performance as Tsarevich Guidon in Rimsky-Korsakov's "The Golden Cockerel".

On April 27, 2016 Dmitry Khromov perfomed a part of Flavio in concert performance of Bellini's "Norma" with participation of world opera star Maria Guleghina as Norma, soloists, artists of the choir and orchestra of Helikon-opera in Tchaikovsky concert hall of Moscow State Philharmonic. Dmitry has a permanent contract with the theater "Helikon-Opera".
