Elena Ionova

 

Elena Ionova was born in Moscow, graduated from the Gnessins State Musical College (Department of Musical Comedy), the GITIS Academy (Department of Music Theatre, training course of Professor G. Ansimov). She is a People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (2015). Since 1985 Elena has been a soloist of the “Moscow Operetta” theatre, she has been in Helikon-Opera since 1998. Elena Ionova sang on the stage of the Viennese Chamber Opera (Austria), performed at the Gian Carlo Menotti and Spoleto Festival (Italy). She is an active concert performer, collaborates with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (the Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra).

Finished Moscow musical college named after Gnessins (musical comedy faculty), then GITIS (music theatre faculty, G. P. Ansimov course). Since 1985 has been a soloist of “Moskovskaya operetta” theatre. Also cooperates with State Orchestra of Russia under the leadership of Mark Gorenstein.
