Johann Strauss operetta "Die Fledermaus"
Every year Moscow musical theater Helikon-Opera presents his fans and viewers a traditional New Year gift - the play "Die Fledermaus". Spectators of the performance are welcomed guests of magically merry masked ball, along with the heroes and famous Strauss's operetta, actors of theater, stage and cinema. This year, the guests of Prince Orlovsky's ball are the People's Artists of Russia, soloists of Operetta theatre Yuri Vedeneev, Svetlana Varguzova and Gerard Vasilyev; the Honored Artist of Russia, actress and director Zhanna Zherder, theater and cinema actors Euclid Kyurdzidis and Dmitry Bozin, singer Varvara; as well as the Russian singer and TV presenter Mark Tishman; actor and director of theater and cinema, frontman of «4POST» music band Dmitry Bikbaev, countertenors Daler Nazarov, Julius Kotov and Vadim Volkov, musician of "The Time Machine" and "Quarter" music bands Alexander Ditkovskiy (trumpet) and sand theater «SandArt».
Symphony Orchestra of the theatre and its conductor are in the spotlight on stage the whole evening. In a whirlwind of Viennese waltzes everything and everyone begin to spin and mix - easy flirt, holiday jokes, love misunderstandings. Traditionally, during the performance the audience is treated to champagne.

This year, for the first time spectators will see a young soloist Olga Spitsina as Orlovsky, Vasily Efimov as Alfred. Another actor, who plays Alfred, Alexander Klevich, entered the theater only this season and he's only 19 years old!
Artists of the choir and orchestra of Helikon-Opera are also engaged in the performance!
