The list of winners of "Opera lover" contest and the list of participants of the gala-concert, which will take place in Helikon-opera

 We publish the list of participants of "Opera lovers" project, which will take place in the framework of "Night of the Arts", held by the Department of Culture of Moscow

On November 3, 2014 at 21:00 we invite you to Moscow musical theater Helikon-Opera under Dmitry Bertman to a "Opera lovers" gala concert, which will take place in the framework of "Night of the Arts", held by the Department of Culture of Moscow

“Opera lover” competition was announced by the theatre at the beginning of October 2014. Its goal was to introduce music lovers, who do not received professional training, to the professional art of opera singing.

The casting was attended by over 50 opera lovers from 13 to 80 years old. Participants were evaluated by the professional jury chaired by People's Artist of Russia, Professor Dmitry Bertman. The jury consisted of the People's Artist of Russia Yuri Vedeneev, People's Artist of the USSR Makvala Hammarby, People's Artist of the RSFSR Galina Kalinina, Honored Artist of Russia Larisa Kostiuk and People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Ponkin.

On November 3, 2014 the ten winners of the competition will enter the stage of Helikon-Opera as soloists and perform arias and duets from famous operas and operettas together with professional soloists of Helikon-opera, accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

WINNERS AND PARTICIPANTS of the gala concert:

1. Turna Ashkhatsava (3rd year student of medical faculty of the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples);

2. Dmitry Bikbaev (film and theatre actor and director);

3. Dmitry Bozin (Russian film and theater actor, poet);

4. Nikita Grabowski (3rd year student of the theater department of Ostankino Moscow Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting);

5. Euclid Kyurdzidis (Russian actor of theater and cinema);

6. Igor Kuznetsov (Electronics engineer, retired);

7. Natalia Koretsky (Russian actress of theater and musicals);

8. Arseny Matyukhin (6th grade student of boarding school № 2);

9. Olga Khokhlova (Russian theater and film actress);

10. Olga Yartseva (neurologist, professor, retired).

Also the concert will feature soloists of Helikon-Opera Maya Barkovskaya Vadim Zaplechny Inna Zvenyatskaya, Alexander Miminoshvili, Elena Semenova, Dmitry Khromov.

The concert program will include arias and duets from the works of Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Offenbach, Kalman, etc....
