St. Tatiana's day in Moscow State University-2007
By good tradition "Helikon-Opera" took part in celebrating Students Day, which is called St. Tatiana's Day among people, after the name of Saint Tatiana, who is considered to be the holy patroness of all students. This is the third time when "Helikon" congratulates all students and lecturers of the country's main university.
First of all, the Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov read the congratulatory ode of his own, which spectators liked very much. He also presented the barrel of honey from his own bee-garden for making medovukha drink to the next St. Tatiana's Day. Soloists Elena Ionova and Maria Maskhulia, both dressed in costumes of Tatiana from "Eugene Onegin" opera, sang the improvised congratulation upon the famous "Habanera" motive. Artists of the choir finished the concert with the version of the song "Ne kochegary my, ne plotniki" from "Vysota" film.
