"Helikon-Opera" returned from the tour in Yekaterinburg


On the 2nd December the troupe of "Helikon-Opera" returned from the tour in Yekaterinburg, where in the context of "The Best Russian Perfomances in Russian Cities", organized by "Golden Mask" festival, "Fallen from the Sky" performance took place on stage of Yekaterinburg Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.


Yekaterinburg met Helikon people with real Russian winter, there was frost of minus 20 degrees Celcius, snow drifts, but the reception from organizers of the tour was very warm.

Before the performance the Director-General of "Golden Mask" festival Maria Reviakina, Minister of Culture of Sverdlov's region Natalia Vetrova and the Chairman of Ural's bank of Sberbank of Russia Vladimir Cherkashin took the word of welcome.

The stars of the theatre Vladimir Ponkin, Andrey Vylegzhanin, Peter Morozov, Irina Samoilova, Anatoly Ponomarev, Ksenia Viaznikova, Larisa Kostiuk, Sergey Toptygin, Marina Karpechenko, Olga Rezayeva, Nikolay Galin, Alexey Dedov, Andrey Palamarchuk, Vladimir Bolotin, Artem Chulkov.

Nikolay Galin, Andrey Vylegzhanin and Anatoly Ponomarev were especially happy to perform on stage of Yekaterinburg theatre, because they were born in this city and performed here more than once.


The hall was overloaded and after the performance the public didn't want to release the artists.
