Dolce Vita of the «Eugene Onegin» production

The premiere of the helikonian “Eugene Onegin” took place in Bari (Italy). The production was presented on the stage of the Teatro Petruzzelli, the fourth largest in Italy and first string in Bari.
Many great international artists have performed at the Petruzzelli: these include Herbert von Karajan, Rudolf Nureyev, Frank Sinatra, Riccardo Muti, Luciano Pavarotti and the others. The interior was also used as a movie location by director Franco Zeffirelli.

“Eugene Onegin” in Bari – is the coproduction of the Helikon-opera and Teatro Petruzzelli. In the production participate two casts of the Helikon’s soloists: Alexey Isaev/Maxim Perebeynos - Eugene Onegin, Igor Morozov/Ivan Gyngazov – Lensky, Olga Tolkmit/Olga Scheglova – Tatyana, Irina Reynard/Alexandra Kovalevich – Olga, Larisa Kostiuk/Maria Maskhulia – nanny, Natalia Zagorinskaya/Inna Zvenyatskaya – Larina, Alexey Tikhomirov/Mikhail Guzhov - Prince Gremin, Dmitry Ponomarev – Triquet, Dmitry Skorikov – Zaretsky, Dmitry Korotkov and Andrey Apanasov – Guillot and the Spanish ambassador, choir and the orchestra of the Teatro Petruzzelli. The opera is to be conducted by maestro Valery Kiryanov.

In coming days 5 performances will take place in Bari.
