Dmitry Ponomarev

Dmitry Ponomarev was born in the city of Berezniki (Northern Urals mountains). Не began to sing since childhood. In 16 years he became the winner of city competition of Soviet and Komsomol songs. After competition was invited to municipal variety orchestra where he studied variety performing and jazz.

In 2000 graduated from Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory, where he got in a class of the deserved art worker and senior lecturer V. S. Kozmin. After the third year Dmitry was invited to the Nizhny Novgorod Chamber theatre. In the autumn of 1996 he sang his first parties of Nadir in Bizet’s "Les Pecheurs de Perles" and Faust in Gounod's opera, a party of Almaviva in Rossini’s "Il Barbiere di Siviglia". Since 2001 was the soloist of the Perm opera.

Since 2004 he is the soloist of Helikon Opera Theater.
