Sergey Toptygin

Sergey Toptygin was born in Moscow, graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (training course of Professor A. Loshak). He is a diploma winner of the International Vocal Competition in Moscow (1997), a Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2007). 

Sergey Toptygin has been a soloist of Helikon-Opera since 1996. He takes a regular part in the concert programs directed by G. Rozhdestvensky. He has a wide song, oratorio and chamber repertoire. Sergey performed the part of Tamerlane in the world premiere of the opera “The Legend of the city Yelets, the Virgin Mary and Tamerlane” by A. Tchaikovsky (Yelets, 2011). He took part in the Festival “Bartok+” (Hungary), “Birgitta” (Estonia), the Festival of the Russian music in Cannes (France).
