Mikhail Nikanorov

Mikhail Nikanorov was born in Leningrad, graduated from the Glinka Choir College at the Saint-Petersburg Academic Chapel, the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg Conservatory (training course of Professor V. Lebed). He is the winner of the Dyagilev International Vocal Competition in Perm. (1997). 

From 1998 to 2001 he had the traineeship at the Mariinsky Theatre Academy of Young Singers (Saint-Petersburg). In 2001–2004 Mikhail was a soloist of Saint-Petersburg Music Theatre “Zazerkalye”, appeared on the stages of the theatres in Finland and Germany, collaborated with such conductors as V. Gergiev, G. Noseda, F. Mastrangelo, V. Ponkin, E. Brazhnik, S. Stadler, Yu. Temirkanov, A. Titov, B. Gruzin.

Mikhail Nikanorov has been in Helikon-Opera since 2005.
